Harvest: New Years Retreat 2019-2020

After an incredible, Sold Out retreat for New Year 2018/19, Harvest is back!

Harvest is a New Year’s Dance Retreat in the bushlands of Central Victoria. Through dance and ritual, we use this rich time of year to harvest the wisdom of the year gone by, and welcome in the new year with intention and reverence. This dance retreat offers us a chance to gather and connect with like-minded, extraordinary humans and celebrate this fresh beginning, in community.

Together, we use Open Floor Movement Practice - a lively, sweaty, expressive dance inquiry - to come home to our bodies, release old stories, let go of unwanted baggage and awaken the artist within.

Set at the enchanting Holly Burton Farm, complete with a swimming hole, beautiful nature walks and a diverse array of accommodation from quirky tiny homes, to lush camping spots. Organic vegetarian meals are included, to nourish your body and soul throughout the journey.

This is a drug and alcohol free event to support us to be present to enter the new year, enriched with clarity and wholeness.

NOTE: There are limited spots available due to capacity for this retreat.

Common Roots is a Melbourne-based organisation co-founded by Henry Fowkes and Jake Potter; combining their shared passion to empower and unite people through dance, ritual and creative arts.
